Again not striclty a home.. but an event packed with infomation about energy saving in the built environment, and with an opporuntiy to see the new passivhaus design Archives and Records Centre:

Guided Tours: 10am, 1pm & 3pm
Film showings: The Future of Housing (40 minutes) at 10am, 2pm

11am: Talk by Mark Barry, lead architect for Herefordshire Archives & Record Centre - the UK’s first archival storage building to be built to the rigorous Passivhaus standard as well the first archival facility in the UK to be constructed to the new PD5454:2012 standard; Guidance on the storage and exhibition of archival materials..

Exhibition of sustainable building projects in Herefordshire with professionals available to answer questions and gather views, including a Mandorla Housing Cooperative information desk for the latest on the Kingstone Passivhaus project.

3 - 5pm: Participatory Workshop on The Future of Housing in Herefordshire.

An architect-led Bike Tour ('Pedalhaus') will set off from Hereford on Saturday morning visiting a selection of sustainable buildings including the cedar-clad Herefordshire Archives and Record Centre.
